A triangle with base 6. and height 3 in. Whats the answer and please show work

How you find the area of a triangle is base × height ÷ 2. So the equation would be 6×3=18 18÷2=9, so the answer is 9. Hope this helped!

The formula for a triangle to find its area is A=1/2bh.
So you are trying to find the area...So you equation would be A=1/2×6×3 so I am going to multiply 6×3 first which equals 18 then you can either multiply by
.5 or divide by 2 (I chose to multiply) so I multipled 18× .5 and got 9. So 9 is your area
