Convert the equation: y+7=-2(x-3) into slope-intercept form.

That form above is point-slope.  It can easily be rewritten into the form y = mx+b, slope-intercept.  Distribute the -2 into the parenthesis first to get [tex]y+7=-2x+6[/tex].  Then solve for y: y = -2x + 6 - 7  and  y = -2x - 1.  That is the slope-intercept form of that line.
