We have to find the domain of the given rational expression [tex] \frac{x}{3} [/tex]

Since, Domain of a function is the set of values for which the function is real and defined.

Here, for any value of x the value of y will be always real and defined.

So, we can say that the domain of the rational expression [tex] \frac{x}{3} [/tex] is [tex] (-\infty ,\infty ) [/tex] or we can say the domain of the rational expression is [tex] -\infty <x<\infty [/tex]
