5 × [tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{10}{3}[/tex] in simplest form

to multiply [tex]\frac{5}{1}[/tex] × [tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex] = (5 × 2)/(1 × 3) = [tex]\frac{10}{3}[/tex]
