B. X= -3 1/9

You started with multiplying 3/7 and 3x then 3/7 and -5

you get 2 1/7 + 9/7x - 2 1/7= -4

you add 2 1/7 and -2 1/7

you get 9/7x = -4

then you divide both sides by 7

you get 9x= -4

then divide both sides by 9

you get x= -3 1/9
