Answer: If you know the person is credible, then you trust they will use the money wisely.

Explanation: Ethos is the appeal to the credibility of the speaker. If some random person off the street asks you to donate, you do not know that they will actually use the money for what they say they will. If you know the person is reputabl, you are able to trust that they will actually use the money for whatever the cause is that they are asking you to donate for.
