73/12 + 14/3

Remember that

14/3=(4/4)14/3=56/12

substitute

73/12+56/12=129/12

step 2

Find the difference

73/12-56/12=17/12

step 3

Divide the sum by the difference

129/12 : 17/12=129/17

step 4

Convert to mixed number

129/17=119/17+10/17=7+10/17=7 10/17
