it would die because in order for a plant cell to survive it needs water, just like it would need sunlight and stuff

it would lose turgor pressure, if you were to put the cell under a microscope you would see the membrane shrinking away from the cell wall, this is what causes wilting. photosynthesis would not occur, due to the lack of water, but we won't get into the specifics of that
