How many combinations of 6 students can a teacher choose from 30 students

I believe you just multiply the number of students by the number of students in each combination

30*6= 180 combinations

Since unique combinations of students is independent of order, ie order does not matter...

n!/(k!(n-k)!), n=number of choices possible, k=number of choices made...

30!/(6!*24!)
