We know that 1 foot = 12 inches and 1 minute = 60 seconds, so to convert 60 inches per second to feet per minute, we are going to multiply [tex]60 \frac{in}{sec} [/tex] by [tex] \frac{1ft}{12in} [/tex] and [tex] \frac{60sec}{1min} [/tex] to cancel units and express our answer in feet per minute:
[tex]60 \frac{in}{sec}* \frac{1ft}{12in}*\frac{60sec}{1min} =300 \frac{ft}{min} [/tex]

We can conclude that after converting 60 inches per second to feet per minute, we get 300 feet per minute.
