Which of the values for x and y make the equation 3x + 4y + 6 = 26 true?


x = 4, y = 2

x = 5, y = 6

x=4, y=2. 3 multiplied by 4 equals 12, and then 4 times 2 equals 8. When you add 12 and 8 together you get 20, and plus the given 6 equals 26.
